When Johnston Gallery opened at the top of High Street in historic Mineral Point in 1989 half a dozen artists' works were represented. Now, artist-owners Tom and Diana Johnston's distinctive functional style pottery is joined by a collection of over 200 regional and national artists. Artists whose diverse styles are represented in a wide range of media, including wood, glass, pewter, fiber, photography and painting - as well as jewelry from over 40 artisans. Pieces are chosen for their originality, strong design and lasting appeal.
Johnston Gallery has been featured in Niche magazine as a national Top 100 Retailer of American Crafts.
